Description
Please join us for a nature Walk and work Party at Bresemann Forest to learn about its trees and their benefits. Help prepare an area and plant trees there. Learn about proper tree planting and care techniques. Participants will get a tree seedling to bring home. "Pitch in for Parks" is a volunteer-based program offered through Pierce County Parks in partnership with the Environmental Education Program. Tree-lovers of all ages and abilities (ages 15 and under with guardian) can pitch in to help your community. Join us rain or shine! Please bring water and snacks. Location: Orangegate Park, 8491 Pipeline Road E, Tacoma, WA 98443. Meet at the parking lot at intersection of Pipeline and 84th Street E.
