We’ll start by creating your very own characters: start thinking about all the cool creatures, brave heroes, kind helpers, and silly sidekicks you can create! We will learn fun illustration skills that will help you bring the story in your heart to life. Sketch around and practice your color, line work, and composition skills, we will add detail, detail and even more detail to help your pictures pop and engage all your readers! Throughout the class, we’ll work together on each step, from drawing your characters to writing your story. At the end, we’ll publish our very own book! Imagine holding a real book with your name on it, full of the characters you created and the world you dreamed up!
