Taught by The Orchestra Place We are excited to welcome back our reimagined Orchestra Program, designed to provide an enriching and hands-on musical experience for students. This program focuses on in-depth learning, frequent practice, and collaborative ensemble performances, making it the perfect opportunity for young musicians to develop their skills and passion for music. Program Highlights 🎻 Customized Learning for All Levels: Beginning Violin (Kindergarten): A fun and engaging introduction to the violin, including basics like holding the instrument, plucking and bowing, rhythm, and beginner note reading. Beginning Strings (1st–6th Grade): Instruction on violin and cello for beginners, covering fundamental skills such as holding the instrument, plucking and bowing, rhythm, and note reading. Chamber Ensemble (1st–6th Grade): Open to students with at least one year of experience on violin, cello, flute, clarinet, or trumpet. This ensemble class focuses on group collaboration and multi-part musical pieces, offering students the chance to perform in an orchestra setting. 🎼 Extended Sessions for Greater Mastery: Classes are one hour long (45 minutes for Kindergarten), providing ample time for students to deepen their skills through guided practice, individual feedback, and group collaboration. 🎶 Showcase Performance: Students will conclude the program with an intimate performance on May 19, 2025, where families can celebrate their child’s progress in a supportive and inspiring environment. 🎵 Expert Instruction: Our program is delivered in partnership with The Orchestra Place, ensuring professional, tailored guidance to help each student excel.
