This exciting 2 day program is intended to train pairs of responders in practical teamwork in home defence scenarios. This course will teach the realities of what happens when something goes wrong in the middle of the night. Registering in pairs is recommended, but not required; you're welcome to register by yourself! Training topics include: - Fundamental practical firearms handling - HOME SECURITY - How to assess vulnerabilities - Planning and staging for the worst - 2 Person team response   - USE OF FORCE – pre and post incident - CQB Fundamentals Kit List: - Reliable pistol and at least 3 magazines - Holster that covers the trigger guard, sturdy belt, and at least 2 magazine pouches - 1000 rounds of reliable ammunition - Electronic hearing protection, eye protection and a baseball cap - Clothing suitable for inclement weather - Water and snacks - Pen and pad if you wish to take notes (always a good idea) - Sunscreen/bug repellent This program will be taught at VALLEYVIEW AND DISTRICT GUN CLUB. 2km North of Valleyview on Hwy 49, turn East on Hwy 669 for 10km. Their sign will be on the right. Students must be equipped and ready to shoot by 9:00am. *Range fees are included in course fee All Memberships & Courses are non-refundable. Courses are transferable, provided course spot can be filled prior to the course taking place. If initial spot cannot be filled, then tuition for the course will not be refunded. If BBAR chooses to cancel the program a full refund will be issued to any enrolled participants.
