Description
Jazz Spotlights will celebrate the work of both well-known and lesser-known (but equally important) jazz artists. This 6-session online course will take a deep dive into the following topics:- Women Jazz Instrumentalists and Composers from Ragtime to Modern Jazz
- An Overview of Jazz Vocalists
- A Celebration of the Music of Charlie Parker, 1920-1955
All ages 16+ are welcome. There are no prerequisites beyond an enthusiasm for music and jazz.
