Course Sessions: Friday, September 5, 4:30 - 8:30 pm Saturday, September 6, 9:00 - 5:30 pm Sunday, September 7, 9:00 - 5:30 pm Friday, September 19, 4:30 - 8:30 pm Saturday, September 20, 9:00 - 5:30 pm Sunday, September 21, 9:00 - 5:30 pm The First Aid Instructor course prepares candidates to teach the Lifesaving Society's First Aid and CPR programs. Upon course completion, candidates receive a Standard First Aid & CPR-C/AED Recert. Prerequisites: - 18 years old - Intermediate Level (WorkSafeBC) - Standard First Aid/CPR-C/AED from a recognized agency (Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, Canadian Ski Patrol, Heart & Stroke Foundation) - Employed as a first aid provider/attendant for at least one year After successful completion, candidates complete an apprenticeship on two Standard First Aid full courses.
