Description
Live Sound 101 is a hands-on introduction to live concert audio. Students who complete the class will gain the essential skills to set-up and manage professional, high-quality sound for live performances. Topics include feedback prevention, speaker and microphone placement, and the operation of both analog and digital sound equipment.In partnership with Music in the Park at Beacon Hill, this course blends classroom instruction with real-world experience. Students will apply their skills in a live concert setting during Music in the Park events.They’ll gain practical experience working with microphones, speakers, mixers, and other essential gear.
