What: GonnawannaCREATEagin' This class will will focus on designing and decorating our FACT bus as we plan to march in the Neptune Parade at the beach! We will design costumes and material to decorate our bus and participants will be invited to walk / ride in the parade with us! Who: Participants w/ ASD who are 6 and older FACT crafting programs are recommended for students with receptive language skills enough to follow a simple single step directions with attempt to imitate actions. Crafting is staffed on a 1:4/5 ratio (1 staff per 4 or 5 participants). Activities can be adapted to meet the needs of all individuals as art is a way to express oneself and there is rarely ever a wrong answer! Where: FACT Autism Resource Center 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23452 When: Wednesday nights in September Cost: There is a one-time registration fee of $60 *This is due to the cost of supplies and material required for our crafters to be successful each week.
