The Baylor Summer Debate Workshop has operated every Summer since 1937 (with the exception of the two Covid Summers). The Teacher's workshop provides instruction in coaching policy and Lincoln-Douglas, along with a variety of individual speaking contests. Jana Riggins, director of speech and debate for the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) will lead the session this Summer. Teachers in attendance will have access to some of the leading speech and debate coaches in the nation.
