My fighting Carbine 1 class pushes your performance with a carbine. We will cover stance and aiming to help you shoot more accurately and faster during self defense engagements. Also covered are sling use, reloads, stoppage clearance, use of cover, movement, and multiple target skills. The day starts off with a zero check and then we move rights into shooting. FP1 will give you a solid foundation in self defense use of a semi-automatic long gun such as an AR-15 but you can bring whatever long gun type firearm you like as long as it is capable of being shoulder fired. Example are MP5, AK types, fight-Lite SCR, Euger Mini-14 or 30, Ruger PC carbine. Equipment - Semi-automatic modern sporting rifle with a modern 2-point tactical sling. - Please bring at least 5 magazines. - Have a way to properly carry a spare magazine such as a belt mounted magazine pouch. - Pistol/revolver with a spare magazine or speed loader - 500 round rifle ammunition - 50 rounds pistol ammunition. - Belt mounted strong side holster - spare batteries for optic - Gun oil - lunch - There are off site options that require a 15 min drive. - water - clothing appropriate for weather - chair - Note Taking Material
