Dive into ocean and marine sciences with the Ocean Bowl! This year-long session (students should plan to attend both Fall and Spring session series) will challenge students to explore topics like oceanography, marine biology, climate science, and coastal ecosystems. Through team-based quizzing, hands-on labs, and research questions, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and science communication skills—high schoolers preparing for NOAA regional competitions, and middle schoolers learning what it takes to be on an Ocean Bowl Team. Ideal for students passionate about the ocean and environmental science. $200 deducted from allotment (for both S1 and S2 session dates).
