Seas and Trees: Art of the Landscape

Come learn the fundamentals of cooking kid-friendly and healthy recipes, then sit down as a group and enjoy your creations!
Our Chef Instructor will teach young chefs the hands-on process of cooking, coupling it with practical instruction, nutritional tips about food, and safety in the kitchen. Working at their own pace in small groups, students learn essential cooking techniques that will serve as the foundation for a lifetime of culinary excitement. Every day will be surprisingly delicious!
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and Class Menus change weekly to explore this year's Camp Theme Artists in the Making.
This class is one week, runs Monday-Thursday, and lasts 2.5 hours.
To create a full-day camp experience, register for a different afternoon class and Lunch Bunch, our supervised lunch break in the Children's Garden.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
*ALLERGIES: Please take into consideration, Wayne Art Center's cooking classes are not equipped to handle most food restrictions or substitutions.
