Introduction to Drawing w/ Nathan DurninJune 25 - August 136:00 pm - 8:30 pmIntro to Drawing: Working primarily from direct observation of still life, this class will focus on the fundamentals of drawing such as sight measurement, perspective theory, light/shadow structure, and form. The end goal is that students will be able to better understand and conceptualize the shapes in front of them and approach drawing without intimidation.
Materials Needed• 18 x 24 Drawing Pad • Canson Mi Teintes Mid Tone Paper (1 sheet)• Drawing Pencils 4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B• Mars Plastic Eraser• Mechanical Eraser• Pencil Sharpener• Kneaded Eraser• Vine Charcoal – Extra Soft, about 12 sticks or more• Compressed Charcoal• Charcoal Pencils – 2B and 4B, white and black• White Chalk - Blackboard Chalk is fine• White Soft Pastel• 24” Ruler• 24” T-Square• Blending Stumps
