Animation & FlipbooksSESSION 03 AMJune 23 - June 27, 2025
9:30am - 12:00pmFace to Face: Art of the Portrait
Learn the fundamentals of drawing cartoons, including character design, facial expressions, and body language, and watch your drawings come to life when you create your own flipbook.This class will explore the world of comics including superheroes, video game characters, Manga (Anime) and Pokemon. Classes will touch upon the universe of TV and movie animation.
This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours, with a snack break outside, weather permitting.
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and class projects will change weekly to correspond with this year's camp theme -- Artists in the Making.
To create a full-day camp experience, register for a different afternoon class and Lunch Bunch, our supervised lunch break in the Children's Garden.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
