Description
Disc golf is played much like golf except, instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc. The sport was formalized in the 1970s and shares with golf the object of completing each hole in the fewest strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest throws).During the introduction to disc golf clinic, members of the Cass-Clay Disc Golf Club will teach participants about the different types of discs and throws, basic rules and etiquette. Instructors will also demonstrate and give tips on throwing and putting form, and provide participants with all of the resources they will need to get started on their disc golf journey. Participants will receive one golf disc with their registration, but may bring their own as well. Recommended attire is comfortable gym clothes and athletic shoes.
