The Social Impact Lab at Collingwood's Morven Campus represents a significant evolution in service learning, offering students the opportunity to seek out potential partners, build relationships, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. This innovative program combines volunteerism, entrepreneurship, empathy, and innovation, encouraging students to collaborate on initiatives that drive change. This unique program focuses on fostering empathy, connection, and collaboration as you work together to support local initiatives and explore solutions to social challenges. During the week, you'll engage in hands-on projects that promote social inclusion, environmental awareness, and community support, working closely with local organizations to understand their needs and challenges. You'll have the chance to meet and learn from inspiring student leaders who are already driving positive change in their communities. Through these interactions, you’ll develop essential skills in teamwork, leadership, and communication, all while contributing to impactful initiatives like Climate Action, Special Olympics, Reconcili-action, Donation Drives, and Seniors Assistance. Join us for an unforgettable week of personal growth, friendship, and social responsibility, and become part of a dynamic network of young changemakers ready to make a difference. This is a full-day program.
