Get ready for an exciting, hands-on adventure in the world of gardening and food as we dive into the 'Farm to Table' experience! In this week-long camp, campers will explore the entire food cycle—from planting seeds in the school garden to harvesting fresh ingredients and turning them into delicious meals. Throughout the week, children will get their hands dirty as they discover how food grows, the importance of sustainability, and the hardworking people who bring it from the farm to our table. Campers will have the chance to plant, tend, and harvest fresh seasonal produce while learning basic gardening techniques and food preparation skills. After gathering the ingredients, campers will work together to create a delicious snack that showcases the flavours of the season. But that’s not all! Campers will also enjoy the creative side of nature, crafting art projects using natural materials, while building their own mini garden to take home and care for. Along the way, campers will learn about the environment, sustainability, and healthy eating—all while participating in camp-wide games and exciting adventures in the forest. Whether your child is a budding gardener, a foodie in the making, or just loves the outdoors, this camp offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, get creative, and gain practical skills they’ll carry with them for years to come. This is a half-day program.
