You'll learn to craft compelling arguments, deliver persuasive speeches, and engage in high-level debates with confidence. Dive deep into the nuances of debate, covering essential techniques like rebuttal strategies, topic research, and strategic argumentation. Topics include impromptu speaking, where quick thinking is key, and persuasive speaking, focusing on how to influence opinions. Explore parliamentary debate, developing both prepared and spontaneous debate skills. Throughout the course, students will engage in real-world applications, completing assignments like crafting persuasive speeches and participating in mock debates. In this dynamic, fast-paced learning environment, you will sharpen your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities while developing your ability to think on your feet and speak with purpose and power.
