This interactive camp equips tweens/ teens with knowledge & tools to provide childcare that is professional, safe, and Christ-centered. Participants are introduced to all aspects of babysitting including pre, during, & post responsibilities, child ages & stages with appropriate activities, infant care, babysitting business prep, safety/emergency issues with handson aids from the Adult & Child CPR Anytime® Training Kit, and much more! Instructional materials, babysitting prizes, snacks, & visits from the cutest babes in Wichita are provided. A Student Startup course completion certificate is awarded on the final day. Campers can expect this course to be taught with a variety of learning activities that are fun and lively. 6th - 12th grade June 9 - 12 9 a.m. - noon High School Library, 12345 E. 21st St. N. Instructors: Erika Duncan and staff $150 (includes supplies)
