Description
Who loves cooking with herbs? Who likes the smell of lavender or enjoys eating pesto? Come learn about herbs and how to build a Herb Spiral. What is a Herb Spiral you say. It's a permaculture design principal that uses stones and soil and maximizes vertical space and microclimates to effectively grow herbs.
After an introduction to Herbs in the Canopy Room, we will meander down to the Harvest Hub and build the Herb Spiral in The Demonstration Garden. This is a hands on activity so be prepared to get your hands dirty. This will be a beautiful addition to Beech Bluff County Park that will be enjoyed for many years to come.Age Category
