Description
Our agricultural landscape is diverse and beautiful, and so are we! This program explores the rise and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to agriculture while delving into the unique challenges and triumphs faced by LGBTQ+ farmers. Plus, we discuss how the LGBTQ+ farming movement has adopted sustainable and regenerative approaches to agriculture that are oriented around community-building and a connection to the land. All are welcome to join us to celebrate the intersections between community and farming while we plant some seeds and learn about culturally relevant flowers. Please bring your own pot!
