Participants will learn machine and hand sewing techniques, garment refurbishing, and crafting skills. They will learn how to select a pattern, fabric and style to fit their skill level. They will be able to complete one project and if ready, move on to another. Quality workmanship will be stressed. Those who demonstrate they are ready will be introduced to special techniques. Students should bring their own sewing kit, a pattern, and a sewing machine if they have one. At the first class, the instructor will discuss the best fabric choice for your project. Sewing machines are available upon request. Ages 18+
