This intermediate 4-week course is designed for photographers ready to build on their foundational skills in a collaborative, student-driven environment. After exploring the core principles of natural and artificial lighting, the class will decide together which specialized photography styles to focus on—such as portrait, sports, low-light, or creative experimental techniques. Instruction will emphasize how to analyze and apply lighting concepts to different scenarios, with a focus on discussion, demonstration, and guided critique. Prerequisite: Completion of Photography 101 or a comparable course. Participants must be comfortable shooting in manual mode and consistently achieving correct exposure using available light.
