Description
The 7.5 hours in class course will provide registrants with the knowledge to respond to emergencies in the home, community or workplace. A variety of topics are covered: how to access the EMS system; recognize and respond to airway, breathing and cardiovascular emergencies; bone, muscle, joint, head and spinal injuries; bleeding and shock; first aid for poisonings; environmental emergencies; and CPR/AED.

**Current Standard FA/CPR. Must not be expired. If expired, please register in full course.
Awards are issued to the candidate electronically through email. Certification of this award is for 3 years.

100 % attendance and participation are required.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the course. All required textbooks are included in course fee.
