This 8-hour program does not replace the Lifesaving - Bronze Medallion course, it is designed to serve as a refresher of critical course skills and information. This course is intended for candidates who have already taken Bronze Medallion but did not pass the course.
Day 1: Review (4 hours)
-Bring clothes to swim in
Day 2: Review and Exam (4 hours)
Completion Criteria:
• Attend and participate in 100 % of the course.
• Successfully demonstrate competency in required skills, activities and final evaluation.
Pre-Course Requirements:
• Age 13 (proof of age required).
• Bronze Star (if under 13 years of age). Must be 13 years of age by the last date of the course.
100% PARTICIPATION AND ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED
Bronze Medallion awards are mailed to successful candidates by the Lifesaving Society.
Participants will be required to complete an endurance swim of 400 meters in 12 minutes for successful completion of this course.
Prerequisite: Participants must show one of the following prerequisites to the instructor at the first class:
* Bronze Star
* Age 13 by course end date (proof of age required)

The following items are required in order to participate in this course: • 1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve• 1 whistle (recommended Fox 40)These items may be purchased at this facility or acquired independently.
The program includes classroom and water activities 100% attendance and participation are required.
