Description

Calling all creative writers! Join us for an inspirational hike where we identify various species of flora and fauna; and learn a few natural history tidbits that might be useful as we wordsmith our creative works. Rain or shine, we will meet and share some favorite classic poems and short stories that illustrate the summer season. We will discuss the use of similes in creative writing, along with testing our creativity with a writing prompt. Don't forget your notebook to jot down any ideas that "spring" upon you along the way, and feel free to bring your own favorites to share with the group!
