Ceramics: Totems and Garden Whimsies (8 sessions) (Thursday PM) Adult | All Skill Levels Instructor: Marty Shuter Thursdays, July 10 – August 28 6:00pm – 9:00pm We will create totems and other whimsies for the garden. We will explore sculptural form and surface decoration, including low level relief and sgraffito. Class projects can be followed or used as ideas to help you express your individual art. Come with pictures of inspiration to be inspired in class. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee. Please note open studio hours for this term will be limited to Monday-Friday during business hours only, excluding holidays. (No Saturday hours will be available.)
