Eat Your Art Out (1 session) (Fall #2) Adult | All Skill Levels Instructors: Michelle Boerio & Susann Moeller (Fall #2) Saturday, November 15 2:00pm – 5:00pm Workshop participants will compose, then illustrate, then eat their poems. We will provide an overview of the history of illuminations and practice the calligraphy of respective lettering as practiced in the Middle Ages. We will investigate the symbolic meaning of GOLD in poetry and its meaning in colloquialisms in common language. Our illuminated poems might use historical European elements as well as stylized images of some of the symbols we create.
