Composition Comprehensive (5 sessions) (Fall #2) Adult | All Skill Levels Instructor: Joe Lombardo (Fall #2) Tuesdays, October 14 – November 11 10:00am – 1:00pm The terms ‘Composition’ and ‘Design’ are synonymous, they refer to the way you arrange the visual elements of your painting. Visual elements include shape, line, value, texture, and color. Composition and design are at least 50% of what makes art appealing but they are often overlooked and misunderstood. In other words, it is not what you paint, nor how realistic it is, but instead how you arrange your picture that makes art appealing.
