Ceramics: Mold Making & Slip Casting (4 sessions) (Thursday PM) (Fall #1) High School-Adult | All Skill Levels Instructor: Marty Shuter (Fall #1) Thursdays, September 18 – October 9 6:00pm-9:00pm Students will learn how to make their own plaster molds, from simple one-piece molds, such as hump and slump molds or cups and bowls, to more complicated two-piece molds, such as mugs with handles or sculptural objects. We will use slip to pour into molds or clay for hump and slump molds. No experience necessary. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, everything else needed for mold-making, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee.
