Description
Similar to tennis but with a few modifications, Pickle-ball is traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special Pickle-ball paddles made of wood or high-tech aerospace materials, with two or four players. The ball used is similar to a wiffle ball, but slightly smaller. The lower net and wiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities, while still allowing for a higher level of play for more competitive players wanting to challenge their opponents. To learn more about this rapidly growing sport visit USAPA.org. Participants can pay for the season ($75 for Kent County Residents and $95 for Non-Residents) OR pay to drop in each visit $4 (resident) $5 (non-resident).
