Prepare your dog to provide comfort to people in hospitals and schools through therapy dog work. Prerequisite skills include beginning skills sit, down and stay. Class consists of intermediate commands such as sit/down stay with duration/distractions, recall, leave it, heeling and exposure to medical equipment. Therapy dog test and CGC given on week 7 with $20 fee due to instructor. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. Vaccine record required.
