In this beginning/intermediate class you will learn all the techniques you will need to become a successful watercolorist. In each class you will complete a beautiful and colorful painting!Students will supply their own materials. Suggested supplies include:
- Good watercolor paper (Arches 140 lb. cold pressed or Saunders Waterford brand) 9x12 tablet or block.
- Brushes - best are natural squirrel. Recommended Silver Black Velvet brushes. #8 round, a zero, a larger round like #16 or flat wash brush 1-1.5".
- Tubes of paint - artist grade
- Must have paints: Pyrol Red, Cobolt Blue, Cadmium Yellow Light
- Secondary Colors: Orange, Dioxazine Violet, Hookers Green
- Neutral Colors: Daniel Smith Joseph Z's neautral gray, Windsor Newton Mars Black, Burnt Umber, Vandyke Brown, Raw Sienna, and Burnt Sienna.
- Pallet, with lid. Frank Webb recommended.
- Transfer Paper - Purchase a roll of Saral Transfer paper in Graphite.
